New here and have a question. My husband and I are buying our first home. My husband is graduating from Pharmacy School this month and is not currently working. We were pre-approved for the USDA loan in my name only and are currently $2,000 under the maximum income limit. Our loan has been approved by our bank and is now in underwriting with the USDA. My worry is that we will be denied because my husband is graduating and Pharmacist salaries are typically $100k+ which will pit us over the max. Will they look at this as potential for future income to deny us?
