USDA home buying questions

How does the buying process go? 1st timer here. So once we decide on a house do we make an offer then wait to see if they accept? Then send info to USDA? Not sure? This way I only need to pay for 1 appraisal & inspection?

Re: USDA home buying questions

Since you've been pre-approved you should contact a real estate agent so you can start viewing homes, you decide on the home, make the offer, and if they accept then you go back to USDA with the contract.  USDA will revise the approval amount to the terms of the contract and probably the next step would be to order the appraisal.  The area specialist at USDA will let you know the exact steps.
