USDA lender in Louisiana

I am looking for a USDA lender in Louisiana.  Income and property both qualify.  I just want to know of anyone else's experience before I start.  I had initially contacted Regions Bank, but they came across as clueless.  The loan office I spoke to did not even know there were 3 major credit reporting agencies!
