USDA loans in CA

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone in California (perhaps in El Dorado County) has had any luck with including their closing costs with their loan.  I'm looking at a guaranteed usda loan and have read that if the home appraises high enough, you can include closing costs in the loan.

As long as the lender you are going with permits it, and you qualify for the loan amount which includes closing costs and the home appraises for high enough, you should be fine to include the closing costs into the new loan amount.  Actually happens more often than people realize.

Thanks Shane.  I'm checking into lenders now, I'll be sure to ask if they allow adding the closing costs into the loan.
