USDA underwriting

Just stuck waiting for underwriters... hoping to close this Thursday.  The website says they're working on the 16th, we turned in our app on the 17th.  Our LO says it's 10 files away.  Does anyone know how long a file takes?  Just getting really worried about closing in time, since the landlord has a replacement tenant already lined up for next week.

Are you possibly in Missouri.  That is what our state site has for dates.  Mine went Friday and supposed to close Thursday also.   I will cross fingers for you also.

In PA, use this site http://www.rurdev.usda.gov/PA_Housing.html.  Nothing from USDA yesterday.   LO said if they hear back this morning, we can still close tomorrow.  I mean it's ok if we don't close tomorrow, but we definately have to close Friday then.
