Underwriting

Hi everyone!

My file is about to go to UW and i'm a little nervous, i've been living with my parents now for two years and haven't paid rent but I do have rental history from an apartment I lived in two years ago. Do you think this could be a problem? No rental history for two years? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

Re: Underwriting

Unless you were asked specifically to provide rental history verification I don't think it'd be an issue.  Most loan programs do not require rental history verification.  However when there is rent being paid, most lenders like to verify it.
