It will vary from bank to bank or USDA office to office
Right now with the tax credit people trying to get through before the deadline there is a log jam
for USDA there were a lot of people that were trying to get in before they ran out of funds and now they
are all moving forward at once since the news that the program will continue
creating a log jam there
It is hard but you just have to be patient
I would follow up every couple of days
eventually you will hear
