Usda timeline

About how long does the process take...on usda's  side? My husband has a 640 mid (556 in may!) and I have a 624 mid (are lenders transunion differrent from the transunion score here?). Our loan officer wants to have a meeting soon, so I'm just wondering about the whole process...

Starting Score: 492 02/12
Current Score: TU: 668 (FICO), EQ: 668 (FICO). EX: 651(lender pull 9/27/12)
Goal Score: 660

It all depends on your state.  Your loan officer can check the system to see what the average turnaround time for the USDA underwriting is.  Most are 1-2 weeks, but your mileage may vary.
