Use of credit cards before applying for mortgage

Hello, I am planning to apply for a mortgage very soon (within the next month) and have not used my two credit cards in almost two-months (both balances are $0).  Even though this is helping my credit score, am I at risk of receiving adverse action from the credit card companies (e.g., closing my account, reducing my credit limit, etc.)?  I just want to make sure I get the best deal I can on a home loan.  Thank you all!

Hi Dallas...you should be OK. There is no harm if you want to put a small item on the card and then go online and pay it off before the statement cuts.

That shows the cc company a bit of use, but you still don't show any balance.
