Applied March 3rd for 15 year VA loan w/NFCU at 3.125% cash out refinance (for home improvements, siding - windows - new back porch) with low 700 myfico scores, started working with a LO within a week on all the documents, she has been fantastic. This would drop 8yrs and $88k from our current mtg with WFHM at 5%. Appraisal came back higher than we thought, she sent it to us with no conditions except to get the termite inspection done, which we did and they found what they believed to be an old stain so they are requiring a treatment for $600. Will send the LO all of that paperwork after the treatment tomorrow with a paid receipt and hopefully we will be reveiwed in 24 hours with a clear to close. If we get the clear to close, we should close around May 9th. Praying that the next two days Gods sees us through.
