We are currently under contract and clear to close on a home. The home is a foreclosure that is held by the VA. The original close date was set for June 7, but on the 5th they ask to extend the close date another 30 days but they expected it to be sooner (maybe a few days). The problem is that the VA has a internal title review process that has not yet been completed. They say the title is clear and that this is just a internal process before issuing a warranty deed.
As of today we are still waiting for the process or be completed and have been informed that it has been expedited. We are not Veterans
My question is:
Has anyone ever had this happen? Does anyone have any information on how long this process usually takes?
