Ok. I am in the process of preparing for my mortgage. I slipped up and got a 30 day last month and in October 2016. I will be using the VA loan. Will these 30 days ruin my chances? Should I wait until November when I would only have 1 late? My lender said she would do letters, but will that be enough? I see that since I have more than one 30 day that I would get pushed into manual underwrite, which I dread. Please help.
As long as you get an approval through an AUS (automated underwriting system) you should be fine.
