We got the keys the day after closing when the loan was to fund.  We had to get the keys because I already had the moving truck scheduled the day after closing!  It worked out because the lock box was still on the door so we got that key & were able to move in.  Later that day, the seller showed and gave us all his keys.

He still has a bunch of crap in the garage so we havent been able to use it.  Waiting for him to still haul his junk.

I totally agree!  Its still hitting me that we are homeowners.  Im so excited to redecorate without having to ask a landlord if its okay.  My 18 mo. old loves our new yard since we didnt have a yard at our old place.
