Just popping in for a nano-tick (taking MIL out to dinner to FINALLY tell her we bought a house) -- but wanted to say (actually, this is so long overdue due to my immaturity and fear of commitment):
WE CLOSED!!
And our final settlement came in roughly $1200 less than our Closing Cost Worksheet said it would!!
Took less than an hour, and got the keys before we left the table. Immediately ran out to transfer water and garbage and get our mail-box key (only problem I have with the house -- it uses a mailbox kiosk instead of having the mail delivered directly to the house). YAY!!!
While I'd NOT go with CW again, overall, it was relatively painless (aside from the stress and nerve-wracking lack of a GFE). So, YAY!!
