We closed this morning... when can we apply for new credit

Good Morning Everyone,

We just finished signing all our documents at closing this morning.  We have been putting off a car purchase until after we closed on our refinance.  Now that everything is signed when can we apply for new auto loan?  Do we have to wait a few days, will the Bank of America cancell our new mortgage if we buy a car today?

as long as your loan has been funded i think you are ok. good luck.

We bought a new car two weeks after our closing (pick it up tomorrow) and had no problem whatsoever.  I did mention the home refi to the finance manager at the dealership, but the loan was approved without a hitch.  Good luck!

Once the loan is recorded with the county you should be good to go.
