We were preapproved!

I know it's a small step... But I never even thought we would get this far in less than a year! Our scores went from 566 and 559 in December to 642 and 634.. I'm ecstatic..... Now to house hunt for a builder spec home that's been sitting for awhile! Thanks MyFico fam... I'll be back soon with more questions I'm sure.

Congratulations.  I'm in the same boat, kind of.  I'm currently hoping to get my score up to get preapproved for a home as well.  Your success makes me hope the beginning of the end is right around the corner.

Starting: EQ 590 (LP 8/12) TU 589 (LP 8/12) EX 612 (LP 8/12)
Current: EQ 650(LP 9/12/12) TU 667 (LP 9/12/12) EX 676 (LP 9/12/12)
Goal: 620 (for VA Mortgage)
Goal Reached. Pre-qualified for VA loan, 9/12/12

Congrats! We are hoping to get pre-approval started tomorrow. So nervous.
Starting scores 2/27/12 TU 605 EX 576 EQ 560
Current scores lender pull 9/6/12 TU 663 EX 629 EQ 645
Closed on our first home 10/26/2012!
