Went to a broker today

Hello everyone!

Well I went to a broker today to see about a mortgage.

My scores were:

Experian: 541 (yuck)

TU: 589

Equifax: 573

My husbands were:

Experian: 644

TU: 616

Equifax: 606

So neither of us hit the 620 mid mark and I did not hit the 580 mid mark.  However with rapid rescore on my equifax, the broker said we would be able to hit the 580 mid score mark.  He said that he just got the news that Majestic Mortgages are doing 580 FHA loans.

And... he said that if it was up to him and he was going to give a 580 credit score loan to someone it would be us (because of our job history, income, reserves and that we really don't have any major dings in our credit such as bankruptcies or foreclosures)  So my fingers are crossed that this will work!! He is supposed to email me today with what the rapid rescore says we should do.

Rapid rescores are not full proof. But they do have a good potential.
