we closed! didnt think it was possible with my past credit issues but we did it. very relieved and truly blessed. 0.00 needed at closing. utitlities transferred we start moving today!

Typical Appraisal turn around is 3 days, but depending on appraiser, if the appraisal UW's have issues...it can take a weekish.

Congrats. I felt the same way when I finally closed that Friday. I didn't think it was possible either since I filed for BK 2.5 years ago. Truely blessed indeed.

Yay for all the recent closings!

We got the appraisal back. It appraised 20k over what we are paying for it. Appraiser did request that deck be sanded and painted, prior to closing. They are suppose to have that done by tomorrow and then we should be good to go. UW says loan is  ready for full approval as long as deck is taken care of. So close! I am going to start calling utility companies this week. We will start moving on the 28th!

I just got the email saying my loan has the formal approval! waiting on the VA appraiser for a new build and close in 3 and a half weeks!

Just waiting to close.  Received our clear to close..1st walkthrough is Friday and closing next Thursday.
