My loan officer said that right after purchasing a home, your scores drop and stay that way for about a couple of months. Would it be difficult to apply for credit as stated earlier (for furniture)? Thank you!

So on average, how long does it take for the "Funds" to go through and you can then try to apply for credit for furniture, etc?
