What does disburse monies or funds mean with a property in foreclosure?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question so feel free to move it.  The building I'm currently living in is in foreclosure.  The landlord didn't tell us anything about it, we found out from someone in the other building he owns.  I went online to see what was going on in court with the building and I saw some notes that said disburse monies or funds and the court date is set for December 12, 2012.  Does anyone know what that means?

What exactly was the document you looked at? It is hard to tell from your description. You should be able to go right into the public records to see the whole case and if not you can always go to PACER.gov and sign up for an account and download the case file. All you need is a case number or even a name and the district where the case is filed. It costs 10 cents per page but anyone can sign up for it.
