I had this same problem when I got started back in May of this year with a Wells Fargo LO... After a week of waiting and being put off, my realtor recommended a very good LO. The results... We were approved for twice as much and we were in touch with her through emails and phone calls every time we needed info. Now we are in automated underwriters and set to close on Sept.10th. Bottomline... I don't care what anybody says... If you are not comfortable with someone through this process, you need to dump them and find someone who works for you. I even dumped my first realtor who kept showing me 'haunted' houses.
