What not to pay

I noticed while reading a thread that it was  mentioned  about lenders not considering old debt for a mortgage.

I have 2 cc collections that are to fall off this year and the beginning of next year. My EQ FICO is 609. Do you think that lenders will conside these accounts when making their decision?

Re: What not to pay

My experience is this:  I had a small medical bill of under $50 showing up.  In order to get my refi, they said NO COLLECTIONS, PERIOD.

With the tightening of the mortgage lending market...I'd say get rid of those collections!

Shane:  What's your advice???
