Info: I have been at my job for slightly over 1 year. Income 38,600 with $12,000 annual child support (5-7 more years)
The houses that I've been looking at are in the 70-90,000 dollar range.
Middle FICO score currently 600-currently have heavy utilization (cards have small limits, had an unexpected travel expense recently)
Several medical bill collections, all over 1 year old, most 2 years old-unpaid (working on it)
Debt-about $4,500.00 left on Student loans, monthly payments $29.00. $1,300 owed on CC
I really need to move this year, soon-ish. We are renting an apartment that is small for my family size, and because of school issues, I don't want to move more than once in a 2 year period. I have an autistic son who doesn't do well with moving, so it's not really feasible to move to a larger rental, then buy. It would also eat a chunk out of my savings. OTOH, we are CROWDED at the moment.
Any suggestions you can give to help me find a lender that will take me will be much appreciated. I know I can afford to do this, but I also know I don't look great on paper.
