I live in Washington State and am married. Ma and my husband are trying to buy a home. His scores are above 630 but mine are around 570. I do not work and do not want to be on the loan. But I have heard in some states there is a community property law. Which requires both credit files be considered. Is washington state one of those states? If so is there any way around that and is that only for FHA. Thank you for your help!
