I was Pre approved by Quicken Loans...found a home...made an offer...then 4 weeks before closing I was told by LO that could not get final approval thru underwriting b/c my husband didn't have 4 trade lines of 12 mths of consecutive payments. I was wondering wouldn't my LO have known this before and why would he wait until so close to closing to tell us we didn't have a loan. Not only that he charged my account for $400 and now we are waiting to be reimbursed for that...What gives??
