Well we got pre-approval (mid scores were 658 and 688) from a mortgage company. we are submitting our actual application tomorrow night with the LO. He says everything looks good, credit, income, etc. He sees no problems with all of this actually happening.. my one concern is NSFs on my bank statement from last month. A deposit and an EFT payment wasn’t timed right and sure enough the account was overdrawn for until the deposit hit the next day. I am terrified this is going to hurt our chances..
You will get two schools of thought on this one...
1. Submit the bank statement with a letter of explaination.
2. Stall and don't submit that bank statement. Wait until you receive the next one that shows no NSF's.
