I just closed on a USDA loan in VA. Have you had the appraisal yet? That was the only hangup we had with USDA, it appraised well above the selling price but the toilets were running continuously (the seals dried out when they drained the water to winterize the property) so they had to get that fixed before USDA could approve it. It took almost 3 weeks because it was a forclosure and the bank had all sorts of hoops to jump through to get it done.
