Hello everyone!!

Long time but I still lurke around a lot.  Purchase tie is getting closer and I was wondering if we want to buy a house in a city about an hour from where we live now can we do it before we get new jobs, or will that be an obstacle to getting approved?

You may want to check with your lender on their distance limitations.  We are purchasing a home that is 2.5 hours away from my corporate office, however I have the ability to telecommute.  If my job did not allow this, I would be unable to purchase a home in this area.
