WOW after having a home inspector and a contractor look at our FHA 203k home, its gonna take ALOT more $ than we thought.  Well over $40k

Found out the plumbing, and electrical were also shot in addition to everything else.

*sigh* back to the searching we go.

At least we still have our VA preapproval!

 that is what I keep telling everyone that I am scared of from buying the house we are...that I am going to move in and it is going to be " the money pit" I cant believe I know people who bypassed inspection...probably not a smart move!

what I DON'T understand is how an FHA inspector didn't look at the actual wiring or plumbing of the place.  That's the government for you...
