Shane,  My MB said that after closing I will be requesting payments from the title company.  Does that sound normal to you?

Each lender sets it up differently - some have the title company handle the disbursements, and some lenders have their own internal department that handles it.

Tonina, CONGRATULATIONS!  I hope soon to know how excited you feel.  How long did it take you from the time you had a contract until you got the clear to close?  I know you had some institutional issues, but just want to get an idea.
