so this is what my LO has told me....
"This type of loan is manually underwritten by one of Merrimack Mortgage's underwriters to NHHFA guidelines. Realistically, it will be the end of next week at the earliest to have an answer. From there, I would expect the appraisal report back a week from when ordered and another day or two for our underwriter to review it. Which leaves us a precious few days to clean up loose ends. I've prepared Travis for the possibility of extending the closing date if needed."
we offered on a house 10-1-09 which was accpeted friday 10-2-09. set the closing date as 11-2-09 which was one month away, i thought we were pushing it but my LO said it should be ok.. im just so nervous about the UW part... any good advice? my Lo seems encouraged.. but did say they'll put us through the ringer before final approval
