How long does it take for an inquiry to fall off/stop affecting your report?

I have two inquiries from April, 2013, and two from August, 2013.

My understanding is after 1yr it is still there but no longer dings your score.

I read in another section here that they stay on the report for 2 years, but are only a contributing factor to your score for 1 year.
