Just curious for those of you who recently or or currently going through the process, how accurate were the myFICO Mortgage scores compared to what your lender came up with?

Exactly the same here also. myFICO is what the lenders use for mortgages pretty much 100% of the time.

Re: myFICO Mortgage Scores vs Actual Mortgage Lender Scores

By the same, you all mean the same as the myFICO mortgage scores, not FICO 8 standard credit scores, right? Just want to make sure!

Yes, as the mortgage scores. I was able to tell my LO the scores before she even pulled them.

Mine too were 100% identical, see below:

5/3/16: Wells Fargo ran my credit score. Came back as 809 with Equifax. Wife's came back as 799 using Equifax.

This matches what I ran from myFICO on 4/30/16:

Mortgage Credit Scores from myFico 3B Credit Reports (As of 4/30/16):

HUSBAND:

Mortgage Score 4: 796 – Transunion

Mortgage Score 5: 809 – Equifax

Mortgage Score 2: 809 - Experian

WIFE:

Mortgage Score 4: 798 – Transunion

Mortgage Score 5: 799 – Equifax

Mortgage Score 2: 812 - Experian

I'm sure you both are competitive. I can hear it now.

Husband: "Ha! I have a higher mid-score!"

Wife: "Well I have a higher low score and a higher top score!"

Husband: "The mid score is all that matters"

Wife: "Have fun doing your own laundry this week"

Ha ha...

Actually we are not competitive. I manage all the finances/pay bills, control her paycheck and mine too; and ensure both our credit profiles are tops. And I do the laundry for both of us every week.
