I plan on applying for a home loan next year. I was thinking of going conventional over NIFA. The reason i was thinking of going conventional is i have outstanding student loans 18k and heard that this wouldnt be a big deal. Is that correct? Can someone give me a link on whats needed to apply for a NIFA and a Conventional loan? On the same topic my student loans do NOT show up on any of the 3 credit reports.
