Anyone here from Kansas city area? Need recommendation on CU?

OP, I moved this to Personal Finance to see if you could get more input on your question.   Unfortunately, I'm Southern California and my CU is only for residents of counties in SoCal.

Mainstreet CU has been very good to DW,  Community America has been very, VERY good to me.

Like other poster said....Community America is the cream of the crop! Too bad the ex and I burned them in BK.

Mainstreet Credit Union has been really good to me.

Mazuma Credit Union has just been "OK".....they seem a little unorganized  and unprofessional at times.

Do you know any specifics about Community America or Mainstreet ? Who do they pull? How can you get membership? We have heard from lots of ppl about Community that they are top notch ..thanks everyone

In my experience,  all 3 have pulled TU for me. I qualified for membership because I live here locally in their service area so you should too depending on  what County you live in.  May be other ways to join as well but I have not checked into that. Community America shares the profits with their members every year with the amount depending on your total relationship.
