Anyone know of 84 month personal loans?

I am looking at redoing 2 loans I have of about 25k total into an 84 month loan to free up some cash flow for the next 12-16 months or so. I was looking at options and found a few but they are proving dificult. I tried NASA but a CO from 5 years ago is preventing me from getting anything there. I tried my local CU but they are being a pain about provable liquid assests. The loan needs to be below 9.99 for it to really be resonable.

Stats are EX 680 EQ 690 TU 690 BK in 2009 clean since then.

Penfed Visa 10k | Penfed PLOC 25k | Citi Hhonors 10k | Total Rewards Visa $25k | Alliant Visa $15k | Barclays Arrival + $13k | Barclays AAdvantage $5k | Barclays Apple $2.2k | CapOne QS WMC $26.5k | CapOne QS $5k | CapOne Plat $5k | Discover 8.5k | Allegacy Visa $6k | DCU Visa $7.5k | Best Buy Visa $11k | Lowes Store Card $30k | Walmart Store Card $10k | Amazon Store Card $25k

With those scores and the BK in 2009 you absolutely will not be getting an unsecured loan for anywhere near 25K.

They were right in asking for assets. I guess you could try any of the various online services but even if you did qualify im sure the rate would be something like 30% APR and even then youd need to be making like 100K to even fathom a 25K loan.

I have been down this road(with no BK) and generally you need very high income or near perfect credit scores. If you have a 4 year degree you might try "Upstart"

@I got a 6K loan from them @ 8.5 % APR with 40K income.  I think they were willing to lend me 10-12K at that level of income.

807 TU FICO Score 8.

Re: Anyone know of 84 month personal loans?

Those terms are going to be near impossible to find, I've never seen a bank or CU go past 60 months on unsecured credit.  However, they are all fighting for loans right now...

Maybe Discover? I just tried their site and they offer $25k over 84 months for fair credit - not sure about the BK though,

may be worth a look? - https://www.discover.com/personal-loans/rates-calculators/monthly-payments.html?loanValue=25000&prof...

Re: Anyone know of 84 month personal loans?

Two loans are Lending Club at 11.99% and Prosper at 12.99%.

My local CU pre approved me for 84 months at 8.99% 25k but I turned it down because they wanted to do a finacial review and they told me I needed to show at least 2x the loan amount in liquid assests. Meaning mortgage and retirement accounts dont count.

I am not desperate for the new loan, I have the income to afford them. I took a new position at work which gives me large bonuses on top of my new salary but the bonus wont kick in until 2016.

Anyway was just looking for ideas.

I tried NASA the other day. They dont like that I am showing an old CO with a balance. I had a loan with VW Credit with I did BK in 2009. Recently it started showing a balance and I cannot get them to put it back to 0 balance. They told me to get that balance to show 0 and it would be no problem.

wow, those are pretty excellent terms from Lending Club and Prosper! and since you already paid the fees up front to take those 2 loans I would probably sit tight with them.

Once you have had them 6 months I think it is you can apply for another loan and see about combining into 1 loan from one of those places but again you would pay the fees all over again.

Agreed, those are not bad rates. The term may be a little shorter than you want, but oh well, just have to pay them down.

As the balances get smaller, time passes, and your borrowing options increase, there will probably be other possibilities. For now, though, those are not bad terms.

Good luck!
