I applied for membership with Alliant Credit Union last month. I got a letter in the mail stating due to Chexsystems with Equifax scoring of 0000 to 9999. Isn't this auto scoring?
My score was 574 but the letter didn't say the denial was for score. So I ordered my Chexsystems report, clean as whistle. I call them to ask, what gives? Why was I denied? They said low scoring but I have a Tinker and Navy Federal. I just wanted a simple savings to take advantage of their long term secured installment loans. Who knew?
