Is there anyway to get the deposit bonus from a bank when self-employed?
Few banks ask about employment status or name of employer, and I've never heard of any verifying if you list an employer. But when you say "deposit bonus" do you mean banks offering a bonus for a new account with a direct deposit requirement to get the bonus? That might be tricky as most state the direct deposit must be payroll or government benefit. But if you check Doctor of Credit they have a list of what type of deposits meet bank direct deposit requirements. For example, some banks count any ACH deposit as a 'direct deposit'.

Does your self employment pay employees via payroll? If so one method could be to create a 'draw' earnings type and pay yourself once a month via the payroll system/direct deposit to achieve the bonus. It wouldn't be taxable like a regular employee, just a pass thru earnings draw.
