... and have also been applying for credit cards. I have racked up a bunch of charges from furnitures to paying our bills. And then paying off the 5,000.00+ balance in one click. Man, it feels good to do that all the time! Last year, I had a credit score of 650 due to no to little credit. AmEx, Chase, and Bank of America we among the first to give me credit, then came Sychrony (store cards). Here, I am exactly a year later and my score is a 760 with Experian, 754 with Transunion.
People say a credit score is a debt score. You have to have debt in order to maintain a score. Nope. Not here. We are a family who pays their balance in full, take advantage of the rewards, and cash back. I'm enjoying it and life is good while my savings/investments gets to sit in our account a little more!
