As with all credit unions, the easiest account is the share savings account.
Their checking account is no fee, and no minimum, so no reason not to get that if you want it.
I don't know what you need to get access to their FICO score, but the score Langley gives you is EQ FICO 8.
It is an EQ FICO 8 hard pull.
I find them to be a pretty user friendly credit union. Direct deposits are credited early, interest rates on credit products are low, easy to use web site.
I called and they say they offer equifax09 and no longer offer EQ mortgage scores. I will no longer proceed to make an account with them.

IIRC DCU offers EQ FICO Score 5 with a share savings account. It earns 5.12% APY on balances up to $1K (recent change) Good luck!

When my brother-n-law opened his account it was $250. Idk how much it is now. You'll have to do some research to find out or simply open an account.
