Lesson Learned

Put myself in a financial rut with debt that I owe on cards. I've been pursuing personal loans, and finally Springleaf Financial approved me for what I owe on all my cards. Pay all these bad boys off, and just owe my personal loan. So excited, but I have to be more responsible with my spending and etc.

Capital One Secured Platinum $750.00, Amazon Store Card $500.00, AEO Visa $4000.00, PlayStation Credit Card $500.00, My BestBuy Platinum MasterCard $1000.00 Amazon Chase $500.00 Discover IT $1500. Chase Disney Premier Visa $5000. Barclays Carnival Cruise MasterCard $500 Bank of America Norwegian Visa Signature $1500 "Apple Card" $1700 Chase Sapphire Preferred $5,000

My future card list:
Amex BCE
Citi Hilton Honors
AAOA 1.2years

Re: Lesson Learned

If you do it -and contrary to many posters here-I understand why you would...just make sure you dont spend on your cards til the loan is paid off or else you will be in an even bigger mess. Trust me -been there done that and got the tshirt. Good luck!

A good strategy and as already mentioned you must have the self discipline to not max out those cards again. Then you will owe both revolving and installment debt.

I know from experience how easy it is to fall back into the bad habits.  Smiley Embarassed
