I applied for a personal loan at Wells Fargo, I was denied and the banker told me that the main reason was because I had too many missed payments. Ive never missed a paymentin my life and as soon as I got home I checked my 3 credit scores and none of them showed any late payments ever being made. Is there a reason why they would say that?
Assuming there are no "fake" wells fargo accounts opened in your name that do not show up on your credit reports, call Wells and ask them specifically which acocunts have missed payments and which credit report they got that from.
My wife applied for a line of credit and although it did not show in her credit report (since she disputed that CC account and it was wiped out), wells in their internal systems still linked that cc opened in her name as a defualted account. The only way to get to the root of this is to contact wells.

If you have followed the news...fake wells fargo accounts are a very real possibility.
