So a quick story-
3/12-- App for NFCU Membership
3/13-- Documents requested and uploaded on.
3/15-- Approved on Checking/Savings/Gorewards CC.
3/16-- documents requested again- I called in and they said on no we see them from 3/13 give us 5 business days from 3/13.
3/21-- I call back they say, give us 2 more days we see the documents in the system
3/23-- Today I call and they CSR calls security and they state they never received the documents that were uploaded on 3/13 even though I receieved confirmation email and was approved for initial membership. They say give us 3 business days.....
This seems like a giant run around/pain. If they never received the documents from 3/13 then how did membership get approved on 3/15?
I know they are worth it, but are they losing the uploads, or do they just need to be reuploaded for multiple apps? Still only a week and a half, which isn't bad- just curious because I received the CC in the mail and have all account info as to where the account stands.
I know I am eligible as an Honorable discharged disabled vet.
Thank you
Did you recieve a TU HP? I got one the same day I got my welcome email.
I had this problem as well and it was because the person who typed up my app spelled my last name wrong. It took them 2-3 months to figure that out.
I ended up having to send my docs all with the application number on each page via email and a letter stating that the my name was transferred incorrectly into their computer.
They were eventually linked.
Well not sure when it unlocked as I never receieved a message however one day I tried to log in and I could LOL. Went forward activated the CC and building a relationship now
Not sure what took so long, but having to submit the same documents twice and no one knowing exactly why was weird. At least it is fixed now and I am moving forward!
So now, when do I wait for that 91 day and AR LMAO, guess I will find that thread and learn more now.
