chool has a 2% surcharge for paying by credit card. My paypal cashrewards gives me 2% rewards. I was thinking that although I won't come ahead much with cashback, I can get the benefits of using a credit card. I can also make a positive impression on paypal as a high spender and thus getting better customer service and better limits. Click select payment method and it'll display the message about 2% https://umd-bursar.f...QswbjhO0wtVDvuV My question is whether or not it is worth to pay my tuition with a credit card and I'm leaning towards yes.
I actually come out a little ahead in cashback. Let's say my tuition is 10000. I would get charged 200 surcharge since .02(10000)=200. I would get then get (10000+200).02= 204 as cashback. 10,000+200-204<10,000 9996<10000 This means I pay $4 less since I'm paying 9996.
Correct there is no reason not too. Treat yo'self. Although I doubt that Synchrony aka Paypal Credit Card gives a rip if you spend a lot. I can confirm that my high spend status with Chase has led to some perks for me though. My school did not charge any transaction fee.... so I racked up some serious points
