Penfed Email - Persoanl Loan Check in Mail

Has anyone else received an email from Penfed indicating that a Personal Loan Check was in the mail?  At the bottom of the email I received, it indicated the offer was dated May 8, 2017 and expires May 31, 2017.

Also - the Penfed phone # has had a busy signal for the last two days...aye!

Both myself and g/f received preapproved $25K personal loan checks last quarter thru them but I don't remember getting an email ahead of time telling me that it was on the way.

I didn't receive one, but when I DID get the pre-approval check in the mail (Aug. 16), I received no notice about anything coming...almost threw it out, ended up needing it at the time!

Last quarter I received a letter in the post with a $25K check attached....then several email reminders until it finally expired. I wish they would send a car loan check instead.

I called Penfed yesterday and was informed mine was a $25k pre approval dated April 4th where they mailed me a check. I honestly don't remember receiving it. I could have just thrown it out with my junk mail. I have until May 31st to decide if I want it.
