ploc and credit card check clear time?

For the people who have experience using checks from credit cards or personal lines of credit, how long does it take to clear when writing a check to self and depositing in your checking acc? Are these looked at to be more secure checks...can you get money same day...are they treated like any other check?

For me, it takes 24 - 48 hours to clear. 

You can receive cash on the same day, but the amount must fall within the allowable daily limit associated with your checking account.  For instance, most accounts will allow for up to $300 to be immediately available, but other accounts (notably Citigold ones) will allow for a much higher amount, depending on your history with them.
