Paid off a collection with credit protection assocation this morning for an old brighthouse cable bill from 2008. They mailed the final bill to the wrong address and we thought we paid our final bill. CPA told me if I dispute it they'll delete it. Hope they stand true to their word!! Anyone have experience with them?? We have 2 collections left, one aging off next month (will dispute August 1st if it doesn't come off) and one more with Midland for a verizon wireless bill that is my husbands dad's (they have the same name) that i'm not quite sure what to do with. Trying to hit that magical 640 by November/December!!
