I recently had a successful PFD with CMRE, I paid the debt and received a signed letter stating the collection account would be removed within 30 days. In the event that the item is not removed after 30 days what steps should be taken then? Can you submit the PFD letter to the credit bereaus to have them remove it?
I also filed a BBB complaint with LVNV and they responded about 2 weeks later that the account is closed and would be deleted within 30 days.
Its been about 10 days since I received both of these letters. I have Score Watch, will I receive an alert when these accounts are deleted.

Congrats! I don't know how long it would take, but it hasn't been 30 days yet. I'm guessing since that would be a change on your report, you would receive an alert. Don't quote me; I'm new here, just like you. What was your BBB complaint, if you don't mind my asking?
