1 year since last late !!! hurray for me

My last late on my credit report is now a year old.  While I have made great progress in my rebuild I still have 3 bad accounts with lates that will be on reports for a while longer.  At least I can control my future actions.  Last March, while traveling for work, I was declined on an AMEX Delta card.  When I got back in town I decided to rebuild my credit.  I started my rebuild in late May/early June with scores around 550.

Today, my lowest score is around 680 and my other scores are around 720.  I went from zero credit cards to 10 cards.  To date, I have the following cards (in the order in which I got them):  (1) Cap1 Secured 2k CL, (2) WF Secured 1k CL, (3) Zync NPSL, (4) AMEX Delta 6k CL, (5) Walmart Discover 5.4k CL,  (6) Chase Amazon 2.3k CL, (7) Chase Freedom 1.5k CL, (8) NFCU Flagship 25k CL, (9) AMEX BCP 8.4k CL; and (10) Discover IT 6k CL.

My plans going forward are to reach goal of 750 all scores, refi house, get CSP card and a couple other good cards and close my secured cards (no longer need them).  Thanks for everyone help.

Today also marked my one year with no late. Go us!!!!

My CK FAKO score went up 12 points... i can only think that hitting the one year mark was the reason. I had nothing else happen this week.

Re: 1 year since last late !!! hurray for me

Havent gotten score watch alert.  As for score change it will be difficult to tell.  Today I had my BCP account hit all three CRA.  I got the card back on 1/2/13 and took 2 statements to start reporting.  The card is backdated to 1993 with 8.4k CL.  Im sure my score has gone up with assists to UTIL, AAoA and maybe 1 year no lates but with all them coming together it will be impossible to attribute gains to any one of the three possible factors.

Re: 1 year since last late !!! hurray for me

Got SW alert this morning but it wasn't for new account it was for gain above target score. EQ went up 16 pts to 672. I've gained just about all my points back from UTIL hits and current UTIL is around 25%. So the good news is once is get UTIL back where it should be then my score should be above 700.
