OK, so, I guess it's kinda sad or funny but I feel totally validated to see that indicator pointing at the "good" piece of the score pie and to read "Your Equifax FICO score is good"! LOL My score was at 657 just a week or so ago and is now 668 (EQ). I think it might be because I've been sending DV/PFD's and 2 of the 5 collections on my report are now gone.
Anyway, I'm currently in the market for a new rental home as the one we are in (for the past 5.5 yrs) has been sold and we have to be out by Jan 11. The rental market where I live is completely out of control and there is crazy competition for houses. I've been really terrified no one would rent to us. I have a very good/well paying job but am a single Mom so just one income. I'm was so happy to see this on my report bc everyone is asking for credit reports. Hopefully this will be good enough for a rental. Weirdly, I didn't get a score watch alert that it had changed...oh well.
Yay!! BIG thanks to everyone who has helped me so far and this board in general...I'm on my way!!
Congratulations! Seeing that needle move is well worth a post and you deserve it!
Congrats!
I always thought it was funny how blunt my ScoreWatch report was.
"Your score is BAD." Thanks myFico, jerks.
